Celebratory Activities for the Inauguration of P2 Park

The inauguration ceremony of P2 Park – located in the Phu My Hung City Center, Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City – is scheduled to take place at 16:30 on April 18, 2025. This event celebrates P2 Park’s recognition by the Management Authority for the Southern Area Development (MASD) as a distinguished local project in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

The program will begin from 16:30 to 20:00 and will feature a variety of special activities, including:

  • 16:30 – 17:30: Lion and dragon dance performances, along with a dynamic flyboard show (a water sport that uses jet propulsion) on the Rach Dia River, adjacent to the park.
  • 17:30 – 19:00: Musical performances and a film screening highlighting the development of Zone A and the investment and construction journey of P2 Park.
  • 19:00 – 19:40: Official ribbon-cutting ceremony, plaque unveiling, and a guided tour of the photo display showcasing the park’s transformation.
  • 19:40 – 20:00: A dazzling LED kite-flying display.

In addition, visitors and residents can enjoy a traditional folk games area, offering fun and nostalgic activities for all ages, such as tug of war, can tossing, Ô ăn quan (a traditional Vietnamese board game), blindfolded bottle breaking, monkey bridge balancing, ring tossing, and more – fostering a lively, interactive community spirit.
